🌱 **Composting for Kids: Worm Farming Workshop** Kids love composting and worm farming! Bring the family to Kimbriki’s Eco House & Garden for a fun, hands-on workshop. While the kids explore, parents can enjoy a cup of Kimbriki herbal tea ☕ and relax in the garden. Through engaging activities and crafts, children will discover how food scraps can become healthy soil—and why keeping food waste out of the red bin matters. 🪱 **What kids will discover and do:** - 🌿 Find out why having a worm farm is fun. - 💧 Learn how to care for and maintain a compost habitat. - 🐛 Meet the famous compost worms that turn food scraps into soil. - 🔍 Become macro-invertebrate detectives and discover helpful garden bugs and compost critters. - 🎨 Make a clay habitat and garden creature to take home. - 📝 Design a Compost Recipe sign for the home kitchen. 👟 **What to wear:** Closed-in shoes, a hat and sunscreen. 👨‍👩‍👧 **Parents and carers:** Please stay at the Eco House & Garden for the whole workshop. 🍎 **Optional:** Bring vegetable and fruit scraps—such as banana skins or apple cores—to feed the Eco Garden worms. 📅 **When:** Friday, 9 October 2026 · 10:00 am–12:00 pm 💲 **Price:** $20 for Res.
