🚗👶 Free Child Restraint Installation and Checking- October. This is a Council led event. - Date: 22/10/2026 Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm. - Address: Moore Reserve Car Park, Hurstville Grove (near Oatley Bay Boat Ramp). - Cost: Free. However, there may be a small cost if special parts are required to fit the seat. Parts will be available for purchase on the day, with any payment made directly to the Transport for NSW Authorised Restraint Fitter. Council generally runs free child restraint fitting and checking events each month, subject to availability. This event is supported by Transport for NSW who provide free child car restraint checking days for the community. Authorised fitters can install and check child restraints, harnesses and booster seats. Up to two seats, per booking may be fitted or checked in your vehicle. Bookings are only open to residents of the Georges River Local Government Area (LGA). Proof of address is needed at the venue, prior to any works being undertaken.
