🌿 **Free Play at EcoHub** 🧸 Join our weekly free play session! Unplug, explore and let little ones connect with the great outdoors through unstructured, imaginative play. 🌳 On Thursday mornings, EcoHub opens its indoor and outdoor play spaces for families to enjoy at their own pace. Toddlers can dig in the dirt, water the gardens, cook in the mud kitchens, spot fish in the pond and play to their hearts’ content. 🧺 Bring a picnic, enjoy a complimentary coffee and soak up the bushland setting! ✨ **Play Spaces and Activities** 🏖️ Natural play spaces with sand, garden beds and places to explore 🍳 Mud kitchens with pots, pans and utensils 🦘 Toy animals 🎵 Musical instruments 🪵 Timber steppers, a balancing log and dry creek bed 🎨 Paper, coloured crayons and chalkboards 📚 Books and hula hoops 🌱 Open grass area 📅 **When:** Every Thursday ⏰ **Time:** 9:30 am – 11:30 am 📍 **Location:** City of Melville EcoHub, 555 Leach Highway, Winthrop WA 6150 🌿 **Play area:** Ngoolark Space amphitheatre and garden, with a quiet indoor space available 🎟️ **Cost:** Free 📝 **Booking link:** [Free Play at EcoHub – Term 4, 2026](https://events.humanitix.com/free-play-at-ecohub-term-4-2026) 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 **A Relaxed Morning** This informal, unguided session runs for two hours. Families are welcome to come and go as they please. Children can play freely while parents and carers supervise nearby for safety. Quiet spaces are available. 🎒 **What to Bring** 👕 A change of clothes and wet-weather gear 👒 Hats, sunscreen and insect repellent 💧 Your own drink bottle 🍎 Morning tea or a picnic 🌦️ Sessions run outdoors in all weather, with shelter from the rain available. ♿ **Accessibility** The grounds include hard paths and compacted sand, with indoor and outdoor seating. Accessible parking is available at the front of EcoHub, ramps connect the venue’s multiple levels, and toilets are available onsite. ☎️ For specific access requirements, contact **(08) 9364 0191** or **ecohub@melville.wa.gov.au**. 🚌 **Getting There** A bus stop serving multiple routes is approximately a two-minute walk away. 🚗 EcoHub is located in **Piney Lakes Reserve**. Travelling west on Leach Highway, take the first left after Murdoch Drive. Coming from Fremantle, continue across Murdoch Drive, use the designated U-turn after the lights, then head west through the intersection and take the first left.
