Kids Giving Back - Helping Hands
About this Event
👨🍳👩🍳 Kids aged 8–14 are invited to roll up their sleeves for a rewarding day of cooking, packing and giving back. They’ll prepare nutritious meals and essential care packs for people experiencing homelessness or financial hardship. Along the way, they’ll learn about the challenges facing vulnerable people and discover how their community helps those in need. It’s also a great opportunity to build community service hours, including school, IB and Duke of Edinburgh requirements. This is a kids-only, drop-off program. Children should bring nut-free food for the day, a drink and closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes. 📅 28 & 29 September: Manly Youth & Community Centre, Kangaroo Street, Manly 🕘 Time: 9.30am–2.30pm 💰 Cost: $100 per child 📍 Location: Manly Youth & Community Centre Kangaroo Street, Manly NSW 2095
